Blanche Lowe Obituary

Blanche Norene Lowe 88, of Lowgap passed away at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Blanche was of the Baptist faith visiting Roaring Gap Baptist Church in her early days. She retired from Tultex early to become a homemaker. Blanche was born to the late Bertie Richardson and Cleo Moncus Richardson on February 19, 1937. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Omer Glen Lowe. Her brothers Robert Dean and Doug Richardson. Sister Doris Hodges. Daughter-in-law, Betty Lowe. Left to honor her memory are her sons Tony Lowe and Mark Lowe. Grandchildren Mark Austin Lowe, Amanda Graham (Daniel), Candace Lowe, Stephanie (Richard) Roberts. Nine great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Her brothers, McKinley Richardson, Billy Gray Richardson and Winford (Becky) Richardson. Sister Corena Johnson, Estelene (Tommy) Smith. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive guests at the home of Mrs. Lowe. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Roaring Gap Baptist Church in Lowgap with Reverend Joe Atkins officiating. Interment to follow in the Fisher Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Roaring Gap Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
