Dear friends and family,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Jane Mattson, who left us on June 30, 2024, in Lampasas, Texas. Brenda was born on April 8, 1948, in Washington, Georgia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to.
Brenda was known for her love spending time with her family during the holidays and doting her grandchildren. She cherished moments with her loved ones and always had a kind and caring spirit. Brenda's warm and sweet personality radiated wherever she went, making everyone around her feel special.
One of Brenda's favorite pastimes was reading; she could often be found engrossed in a good book. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her lady friends and dining out with them. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she was always thinking about others before herself.
Brenda will be deeply missed by her surviving daughters Tanya Mattson and Tammy Gresham, her brother Larry Pitts, grandchildren Tabitha Mattson, Alicia Manning, and Justin Gresham, great-niece Joviann, and many great-grandchildren. Although she is no longer with us, Brenda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to those mentioned above, Brenda is now reunited with her daughter Linda who passed in 2021. May they find peace and eternal joy together.
As we mourn the loss of Brenda Jane Mattson, let us also celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared with each one of us. Rest in peace, dear Brenda.
