Brian E. Black, age 58, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Brian was born on November 12, 1966, in Stevens Point to Robert Black and Violet Bodette. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1984. Brian married Lisa Fuehrer on September 25, 1994.
Brian served 4 years in the Navy as a boiler technician on the USS Hart. He then worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, RCL and Right of Way Consultants as a flag man.
Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, and when he didn't hurt himself, working on cars.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children, Douglas Black, Tara Black, and Brian Black Jr.; father, Robert Black and adoptive mother, Vivian Black; brothers, Butch Skervin, Greg Skervin, Phillip Powell Jr., Joseph (Missy) Powell, and Kevin (Debbie) Cole; sisters, Bridgett (Douglas) Miller and Bobbi Jo (Scott) Kirchhoefer; and sisters-and-brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Violet Bodette Powell; and brother, Robert Black.
A memorial will be held at a future date.
