It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brody Anderson, who left us too soon on October 17, 2025, at the age of 21 closely surrounded by his family and friends.
Brody was born on January 25, 2004. After graduating from Blue Earth Area High School in 2022, he started his career at Bevcomm in Blue Earth.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing, home improvement projects, and anything with a motor that he could make louder or faster. He was an untamed free spirit who lived his short life to the fullest, in his own way.
He had an incredibly tight bond with his three siblings who have many fond memories of their time and adventures together.
Brody is survived by his father, Jacob Anderson, his mother, Heather Anderson, brothers Erik (Serina) and Benjamin, sister Hadleigh, grandparents; Sonja Anderson, Milton and Donna Steele, aunts; Ingrid (Dean) Rueter, and Eva Steele, uncle Nathon (Amanda) Steele, his girlfriend Jordan Petersen, his 2 four-legged best friends Vinny and Toby as well as many cousins, extended family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Larry Anderson. They will once again be able to watch Vikings football games together. A funeral service to honor Brody will take place at 11AM, Friday October 24, 2025 at the United Lutheran Church in Frost. Visitation will be Thursday October 23 from 4-7PM at Patton Funeral Home and continue 1 hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at United Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences can be left and a livestream of the service can be viewed at www.pattonfh.com In an act of profound generosity, Brody chose to be an organ and tissue donor and was able to help save the lives of six individuals with his organ donations and will be able to help hundreds more through tissue donation ensuring that his legacy of compassion continues beyond his years.
