Bruce was a fun, faithful and compassionate individual. First photo is probably from 1967 or 1968. Second photo from May, 2025.

Here´s a quick photo of a photo my father took in 1955 of Bruce and Steve with their bicycles in the yard of the house built by Jim Robinson sometime in the early 1920s (I´m guessing). The second is a quick photo of a photo of Bruce from about 1953. Behind Bruce: his grandmother Thenia Soard Robinson, his father Ralph Robinson, his aunt Betty Smith Rice, and uncle Gene Rice. The original photo is much less blurry.

Bruce was my cousin on my mother´s side. My mother used to babysit him when he was very young and she always said he was an adorable kid. My earliest clear memory of him is from when I was 4 and he was about 16 and we cut through a field to walk from Bruce´s family´s home to our great aunt Lucy´s house and he lifted me up over a barbed wire fence but cut himself slightly in the process. I thought he was very brave to not cry and not even complain. He was already a steady guy and I was impressed over the years by his love and devotion to his mother and father and his brother, Steve.
Anyway, I just got the sad news of Bruce´s passing. I will make every effort to get to the service this Saturday at 4pm.
