C.W. Storey, 90
C.W. Storey, born September 19, 1934, passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 90. C.W. lived a rich and full life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and a deep love for the outdoors.
C.W. began his long career at Sunny Grove Ranch in 1961, where he worked until 1979. In 1979, he moved to Bonifay, Florida, where he settled down and took pride in serving the county as a dump truck driver. His work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew him. Even after retiring, C.W. returned to Sunny Grove Ranch part-time from 2007 until 2020, never one to shy away from a good day's work.
Outside of his occupations, C.W. cherished time spent with family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding in the woods, and ending the day sitting around a fire, sharing laughter and tall tales that will be dearly missed by all.
C.W. was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Cindy White. He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Linda Storey; his son, Rip Storey and wife Debbie; his daughter, Lynn Duboise and husband John; his son, Carson Storey and wife Cathy; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
C.W.'s legacy is love, laughter, and the countless memories he created with those who were fortunate to know him. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
