Caleb Johnson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home on Jul. 17, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Caleb Jack Johnson, who left this world far too soon on July 12, 2025, at the age of 45.
Born on August 9, 1979, in Eastland, Texas, Caleb was persistent, hardworking and independent. If he wanted something, Caleb had a unique ability to make it happen. His entrepreneurial spirit, tireless work ethic and keen sense for opportunity, made him extremely successful in his business endeavors.
Outside of work, Caleb was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He found peace and challenge in nature and enjoyed his time hunting and fishing. In the last few years of his life his favorite place had become his ranch in Putnam, watching the sunsets on the hill and tending to the cattle and horses.
More than anything else in this world, Caleb loved his children - there was nothing he wouldn't do for them.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 23 years, Kari Cahill Johnson and beloved children Hunter Johnson and Greenly Johnson; Mother Kaylon Johnson and father Jack (Angela) Johnson; Sister Stephanie (Aaron) Housh and brother Michael Johnson. Sister-in-law Lisa (Daryl) Graham; Nieces Shaedyn Housh and Alysa Johnson; Nephews Christian Housh, James Housh and Daxton Graham.
A celebration of Caleb's life will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 2:30 pm at First Baptist Church in Cisco.
