Calvin Eugene Arrand, age 73 of Howell, passed away March 18, 2025. He was born on February 12, 1952 in Howell, the son of Basil Dale and Dorothy May (Morgan) Arrand.
Calvin attended Howell High School and furthered his education at Lansing Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1974-1977 as a watercraft operator, mainly stationed at Fort Story. Immediately following his service, Calvin started his career at Pepsi, where he would excel at various job titles before retiring in 2014 after 37 years of service. In Calvin's free time, he enjoyed golfing at Ironwood Golf Club and was an accomplished bowler at Howell Bowl-E-Drome. Calvin loved classic car shows and enjoyed the time he had a classic car of his own. In the fall time, he was an avid hunter.
Calvin is survived by his children, Gwenn (Nathaniel Lumley) Hollister and Grahm (Kelley) Arrand; grandchildren, Brandon Arrand, Lauren Arrand, Keith Flamini III, Nathan (Amanda) Boze, and Elijah Hollister; great-grandchild, Aiden Arrand; and siblings, Dianne Carrick, Dale Arrand, and Becky Davey.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Dorothy Arrand; his sister, Carleen Mikkola; and son in law, Eric Boze.
A visitation for Calvin will be held 4PM-7PM Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald Chapel, 315 N. Michigan Ave, Howell. A funeral service for Calvin will be held 11AM Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment at Sanford Cemetery will follow with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
