Calvin T. Reilly, age 68 of Belle Fourche, died Friday, July 25, 2025 in Spearfish following a sudden cardiac event.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1pm Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. Friends may leave written condolences online at www.LeveringtonFH.com

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to help with funeral expenses.

Calvin Todd Reilly was born September 23, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Evelyn (Egeberg) and William T. O’Neil. At a young age, Calvin moved with his mother to South Dakota and he graduated from the Brookings High School in 1974. For many years, Calvin worked in and managed several restaurants in several different states.

Calvin was united in marriage to Gayle Waite Porter on December 24, 1998 in Black River, New York. Together they lived in New York until 2015, when they moved to the Black Hills. For five years, Calvin was a “CASA”, a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children. He was also a therapeutic foster parent for two years and he adopted 3 boys with his wife Gayle. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Calvin is survived by his wife Gayle, of Belle Fourche; children, Charles (Kristin) Reilly of Belle Fourche, Elizabeth (Jason) Dallenbach of Belle Fourche, Christina (Ray) Delepaz of Temple Texas, Kenneth Reilly of Statesboro Georgia, Movada Fox and Adlai Stevenson both of Belle Fourche; step-sons, Ronald (Stacey) Porter of Rochester New York, Eric Porter of Black River New York, Bryan (Jessica) Porter of Copenhagen New York; grandchildren, Louis, Breena, Cheyenne, Dominic, David; Malina, Sean, Keegan; and several step grandchildren in New York. He is also survived by his brothers, Francis “Ed” (Kay) Reilly of Belle Fourche, and Pat (Bonnie) Reilly of Hulett Wyoming.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; and step-father, Francis Reilly.
