Carl Franklin 'Pee-Wee' Sandrell, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, November 03, 2023, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired owner of Sandrell's Used Cars since 1967, and a member of New Prospect Church of Christ. He was a former county commissioner, a former member of the Civitan Club, a volunteer fireman, and involved in local organizations

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mary F. Littrell Sandrell; three sisters, Mae Lutts, Louise Brown, and Lorene Sandrell; and two brothers, Herbert Sandrell and Lloyd Sandrell.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Willie Mae Sandrell of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Deborah Murphy (Pete) of Smyrna, TN; one son, Wade Sandrell (Lydiana) of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Jason Ray McAfee (Kylie), Eric Adam Esters (Whitney), Caroline Anne Sandrell, and Carlton Wade Sandrell II; three great-grandchildren, Coleman Hubbard, Cooper Bowman McAfee, and Ivy Mae McAfee; two sisters, Lois Bostelman and Shelby Jean Brown, both of Columbia, TN; one brother, Marvin Ray Sandrell of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 09, 2023, and from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Friday, November 10, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Mimosa Cemetery at 11:00 AM Friday, November 10, 2023, with Leslie Shadrick and Jeff Smith officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to New Prospect Church of Christ.
