Carl Lee Geisler, 84 of Blairstown, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg.
Carl was born September 28, 1940 in La Due, Missouri, son of Clarence and Anna Belle (Cook) Geisler. In 1945, he moved with his family to the Blairstown area. He graduated from Chilhowee High School. Carl was united in marriage to Maxine Arlowyn Maddux on November 2, 1963 in Clinton. He was employed with several Holden factories though out the years and did carpenter work in between jobs. Carl retired from Allis Chalmers in 2001.
He was an avid outdoorsman in every way. Carl especially enjoyed turkey hunting and coon hunting. He also loved working with hunting dogs. He made it a point to teach his family and other local children how to hunt and fish. Anything to do with fishing, hunting and camping, Carl was all in! He also enjoyed vegetable gardening, attending his grandchildren's sporting events, hosting big fish frys and family cook outs.
Survivors include his daughter: Lisa Browning and husband, Michael of Blairstown, MO; son: Carl Wayne Geisler and wife, Jackie of Chilhowee, MO; two grandchildren: Lauren Geisler and Carlie Geisler; four sisters: Clarabelle Searles, Edith Harness, Shirley Bunney and Linda Long; several step brothers and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maxine; two sisters: Bertha Leighty and Anne Waring; brother: Jimmy Geisler and several step brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22nd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
There will be a private interment at the Blairstown Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be left to the Blairstown Cemetery Association in care of Williams.
