Carl Wesley Lott, Sr, passed on July 1, 2025, in White Castle, Louisiana, at the age of 72. He was born on January 19, 1953, in Madison County, Mississippi, to the devoted and late Cleo and Florida Lott. He attended Walton Elementary, Powell Junior High, and Brinkley Sr. High. During the integration of schools in 1969/1970, Carl transferred to Murrah High School where he graduated from in June 1971.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Washington Lott; 3 children, James (Latasha) Washington, Keoka Washington, Carl (Trudy) Lott, Jr. and grandchildren, Jala, Tyran, Khloe, Jase, Cahlen, and Camar, and (1) great granddaughter, Serenity Smith. He is also survived by his 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, 3 godchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A member of St. John the Baptist Church in Dorseyville, Louisiana, pastored by Reverend Gregory Coates. He proudly served in the US Army for 22 years, retiring as Sergeant First Class. Additionally, a proud member of Masonic Obelisk Lodge 81. Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Dorseyville, Louisiana, at 10:00 AM on July 10, 2025. Interment will take place at Port Hudson National Cemetery at 20978 Port Hickey Rd, Zachary, LA 70791."
