Carla J. (Williams) DeSota
LAGRANGE, IN (formerly of Continental) – Carla J. (Williams) DeSota, 69, of LaGrange, IN (formerly of Continental), passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at My Michigan Medical Center, Midland, MI. She was born April 2, 1956, in Defiance to the late Richard "Sprout" and Mary (Drew) Williams.
She is survived by her loving partner, Ray Keck of LaGrange, IN; six children: Richard (Heidi) DeSota of Defiance, Ronnie (Amber) DeSota of Ayersville, Terri Keck of Defiance, Amy (Jason) Chard of Angola, Ben (Tracy) Keck of Defiance and Tracy (Kim) Keck of Scottsdale, AZ; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Phil (Ginger) Williams of Continental; and three nieces: Dawn (Neil) Horstman, Katie (Ryan) Winkle and Traci (Matt) Rue, all of Continental.
Carla was a member of the Continental American Legion and Indian Lake Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader. Carla loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2025, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Presiding Minister: Jim Martin, SAM. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
