1966, to the late Gladys Ewing & Johnnie Ewing. Carla Elizabeth Johnson entered into her final rest July 6, 2025, at Ochsner LSU Monroe. Carla leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Crystal J Tucker (Freddie Tucker), son Michael Johnson, siblings, Donna Johnson, Cheryl Johnson, Demetruis Ewing, and her loving aunt Girlene Stemley. She also leaves to cherish memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other close relatives, friends & neighbors. Carla was Preceded in death by her grandparents Latasha Butler & John Johnson, parents; Gladys & Johnnie Ewing, aunts; Elaine Johnson, Gloria Jamison, uncles; Cleveland Johnson, Gilbert Johnson, siblings; Darren Johnson, Dionne Ewing, Michelle Johnson, Carmella Johnson, and Anita Ewing. A Viewing will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 19, 2025, for 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 411 N. Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA 70112. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. There will be a Repast held at Celebration Hall 1701 St. Bernard Ave from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Interment is Private.
