A funeral service for Carmen Cardiel, 73, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 A.M, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel at 512 North Ridgeway, Cleburne Texas. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. A visitation will be held 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, August 11, 2025
Carmen Cardiel, born on May 7, 1952, in Durango, Mexico, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, in Keene, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will be cherished by her family and many friends.
Carmen is survived by her daughters, Martha Torres, Irma Hernandez, and Linda Ortega; grandchildren, Robert Torres, Jr., Antonio Torres, Joshua Torres, Oscar Torres, Mario Becerril, Cyndi Becerril, Rebecca Garcia, Serenity Salas, Jose Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Jr., Katie Velasquez, and Adan Ramirez; siblings, Santos Cardiel, Raul Cardiel, Augustin Cardiel, Eduvigues Cardiel and Veronica Cardiel.
Carmen was preceded in death by her daughter, Juanita Salas; sisters, Jesusita Cardiel Rios and Maria Cardiel Rios, as well as her brother, Fernando Cardiel.
As we remember Carmen, let us celebrate her life filled with compassion, family, and enduring love—a remarkable woman whose presence will be sorely missed but forever cherished by those who loved her.
