Carol Ann Bouma, 86, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born December 24, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Charles Edward and EdithVirgina Carroll Owen.
Carol worked in accounting for Walmart for 24 years. Carol has been a member of Rogers First Church of the Nazarene since November 1971. In years past she was active in the church choir, visitation ministry and greeting ministry. She loved to entertain and was the perfect hostess. Carol was a talented harmonica player and tap dancer. She loved dressing up and performing for holidays. Carol was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her card ministry and the many lives she touched by her encouragement. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husbands Duane Bates and her second husband Jay E. Bouma and her siblings Geri Owen Howard, and Bob Owen
Carol is survived by her brother-in-law Robert Howard of Hilliard, Ohio, sister-in-law Jan Owen of Utah, and nephew Ryan Howard.
