Carol Green Obituary

Carol A. Green, of Stevens Point, passed away at home on June 10, 2025, with her husband by her side after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 63.
Carol was born August 5, 1961, in Adams, WI; daughter of Thomas and Delores Hodge (Vogt). She went on to graduate from Beloit Memorial High School.
In 1980, Carol traveled abroad to Germany where she met George Green. It wasn't long after and the two were united in marriage, spending 45 years together as husband and wife. Their union produced two wonderful children, Jonathan and Jennifer. In time, their family expanded to include 8 grandchildren and countless lifelong memories. Carol also pursued a career in the medical field and became a CMA, working for St. Michael's Hospital, now known as Aspirus. For over 25 years, she dedicated herself to her patients whom she loved and adored.
Carol led a life of variety and found joy in many activities. Some of these interests included antiquing, DIY projects, baking and cooking, camping, crafting, reading, and photography, especially of wildlife. However, her strongest interest was always the people around her. She was a kind-hearted woman who would do anything necessary to help someone. She was very honest and even stubborn at times, but had a heart of gold and a love for others that was never ending. Carol was a shining example of strength and compassion.
Carol is lovingly survived by her husband, George; her son, Jonathan Green (Amy); and her grandchildren, Owen, Triniti, Crystal (Mitchell), Hailey, Devon, Connor, Wyatt, and Evelynn. She is further survived by her mother, Delores; and her siblings.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hodge; and her beloved daughter, Jennifer Spice.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all of the wonderful people at Compassus for their kindness, especially nurses Hank and Kim for their patience and understanding while guiding us in the care of Carol; to the doctors and staff at the Oncology department for their time and dedication; and to all of Carol's coworkers for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
A funeral service will be held to honor Carol's life at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Shuda Funeral Chapel (3200 Stanley Street, Stevens Point). Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
