Carol S. Reynolds 76 of Ocala, FL passed away July 11, 2025 while a patient at the Life Care Center of Ocala. Carol was born August 8, 1948 in Williamson, WV the daughter of the late Truman W. and Tella Hall Brumfield. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Billy R. Brumfield and his wife Linda, Larry D. Brumfield and his wife Brenda and her sister, Wanda J. Brumfield.
Carol and her husband Scotty married in 1969 and left Mingo County for Cleveland, OH. In 1984 they traveled south to Ocala where they made their home. Carol worked for many years in the banking business. After retiring she enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling. She was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Burch High School in 1965.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 56 years, Scotty, brother, Randall and his wife, Deborah Brumfield, sister, Karen and her husband Charlie Maynard and sister-in-law, Vernell Brumfield. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at the Chafin Funeral Home on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00am with Elder Jimmy Maynard and Elder Chris Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV. Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel on Friday evening from 6-9pm. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers. Chafin Funeral Home is proudly serving the Reynolds and Brumfield Family.
