William Anderson Obituary

Mr. Anderson was born June 25, 1927, in York, the son of the late Sherman and Blanche A. (Reynolds) Anderson. He was a graduate of York High School and served in the US Navy. He was employed as a Coppersmith at Caterpillar for 31 years. He was a member of the Haneyville Volunteer Fire company, Lock Haven, PA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. William is survived by his son, Michael W. Anderson and wife, Kim of York.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, with visitation from 3:30 until 4 p.m. at John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 2114 West Market St, York, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. Pastor Danny Chronister will be officiating the service. He will be laid to rest in Indiantown Gap Cemetery. Full military rites will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard, at the funeral home, prior to the memorial service.
Memorial contributions may be made by "Paying it forward" and/or "Random Acts of Kindness".
