Carolyn R. LeBlanc, 85, of Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on November 30, 1939, in Iowa, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Emedies and Eva Lognion Mallett. A devoted housewife, she found great joy in caring for her family. Carolyn loved gardening, reading, and-most of all-spending cherished moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of St. Raphael Catholic Church.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence LeBlanc; her parents; and her brothers, Bobby Mallett, Lee Mallett, and Jimmy Mallett.
She is survived by her loving children: Rebecca LeBlanc, Cynthia McCullough, Donna LeBlanc, and Robert LeBlanc (Tracy); six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, with a rosary recited at 1:30 p.m.
Carolyn will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her gentle, giving spirit.The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Amedisys Hospice. Special thanks to CNA Gloria of Amedisys and caregiver Candace for their love and patience shown to our mom.
