So sorry to hear this. Gene was a pleasure to know. I babysat him and his siblings when they were small. He will be missed.

Sending you my deepest sympathy. I worked with Gene on and off for a number of years when he was with the 5th CST and he was always one of my favorite people. He was kind, funny and an all around great person. The world has lost a great man and I am so sorry for your loss.

The world is a smaller place with the passing of Colonel Gene Links. I am blessed to call Gene and Judy friends who I will never forget. Gene and I had something unenviable in common in that Gene was wounded in Afghanistan on the same day that I found out that I have cancer.
From the moment I met Gene in person we hit it off famously. Whenever we got together which was too infrequently due to distance and other circumstances we always had a great time.
We will meet again on the other side and rekindle our friendship in heaven.
Rest assured that Gene Links Entered his House Justified
