Catheriene Layman, 73, of Clanton, Alabama passed away January 16, 2025, at her residence.
She was born May 22, 1951, in Clanton,Alabama, daughter of the late Carey Kelley and the late Pauline Kelley.
She was a loving wife and mother. Her eyes were always bright with a kind heart and smiling. She was a Christian lady who never met a stranger. She was a member of the Enterprise Volunteer Fire. She loved her animals and enjoyed life.
Surviving are her Husband, John David Layman; Sons, Darrell Mundy, John T (Rachel) Layman; Daughters, Audrey Cubbison, Sarah (Lonnie) Flowers; Grandsons, Michael (Kelsey Gomes) Cubbison, John (Hazel Montoya) Cubbison, John Riley, Jaydan Layman, Jaice Layman, Isaiah Riley;Granddaughters, Cristy Cubbison, Melodie Riley, Harmony Riley, Scarlett Layman; Brother, Oscar (Ann) Kelley.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Carey Earl Kelley; Mother, Pauline Kelley; Son, Joel Layman.
Friends will be received Monday, January 20, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Morgan Sims and Elder Josh Winslett officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
