Catherine Ann Muller, 75, of Tallula, Illinois passed away quietly on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at her home.
Catherine was born July 9, 1950, to Gerald "Jack" and Evelyn (Stufflebeam) Allen in Springfield, Illinois. She married the love of her life Robert "Bob" Muller twice. She worked at St. John's Hospital for 25 years as a CNA and then a Unit Clerk. She worked most of those years on the Transitional Care Unit until it closed.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Evelyn Allen; her husband, Bob; her younger brother, Wayne "Mud" Allen; and her brother-in-law, Jim Thurman.
Surviving are Catherine's children, Melinda Muller, Dan (Heather) Muller and Craig (Jennifer) Muller all of Tallula; her stepdaughters, Ruth Muller of Spokane Valley, Washington, and Sharon (Curtis) Coburn of Springfield, Illinois; her grandchildren, Serenity (Luke) Price of Creve Cour, Sapphira Davis of Virginia, Ryker Muller of Tallula and Samuel Muller of Springfield; her great grandson, Levi Price of Creve Cour; her sister Brenda Thurman of Auburn; a sister-in-law Paula Allen of Petersburg; and several nephews and nieces.
Catherine will be buried at Camp Butler with her husband, Bob, on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's name to Memorial Home Hospice at 644 N. 2nd St, Springfield, Illinois 62702.
