She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ova James and a brother Jimmy Chris James of Livonia, Michigan.
She is survived by her brother Stephen (Barb) James of Port Huron, Michigan and a sister Patricia Asher of Manchester, KY. As well as a host of nieces and nephews, Sherry (Earl) Owens, Billy (Ashleigh) Lunsford, Nikki Farr, Steve James Jr., Laura Darrow, Greg James and Judy Alexandra. She was also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Lindsey Lunsford, Zoey Owens, Kinley Myers, James, Daniel and Jacob Darrow, Chey, Shane and Austin Alexander, Caden, Bryanah and Addison James.
Catherine was of the Holiness Faith.
A graveside service for Catherine will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Doolittle Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Stevens officiating.
