Dearest friend and classmate, Charlene, I will miss you until I see you again.
Oh the memories we shared and the talks we had. You have been a precious friend to me and the class of 1960 from Cisco, Texas.

My deepest condolences to the whole family. Charlene was a very important person in my
Life and I loved dearly and I know she loved me. She told me often. She came to all my parties that I had at my house for my research group and we had a blast. Her work with me on the journal Inorganic Chemistry was the only reason I could do that job. We traveled to different places like Washington DC to have meetings with the editors and the Assistants and it was so much fun. Everyone on the Journal love Charlene so much. Memories of talking to Charlene and discussing our lives and our tribulations. She helped me a lot and I hope I helped her.
Love you and miss you very much Charlene.
