Charlene S. Slavens – Ellingsworth of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away July 28, 2025, at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. Born June 8, 1951, in Clinton to Gary Slavens and Eleanor Ruffattola Slavens. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Clinton. She was an administrative assistant at Osler Institute. She married Thomas Ellingsworth on November 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Charlene is survived by one daughter, Angie Marie Williams of Plant City, Florida. One son, Ryan (Vanessa) Williams of St. Bernice, IN. One grandson, Gabriel Williams. Two granddaughters, Kayleigh (Paul Peterson) Williams and Kassidie (Wesley Mills) Sanquenetti. Six great grandchildren, Trystin Mills, Mia-Marie Mills, Keira Mills, Tabius Hedges, Tyrion Williams, Rhaegar Peterson and several cousins.
Per her wishes cremation was choses with internment at Walnut Grove Cemetery – Clinton.
Services are entrusted to Giovanini Funeral Home – Clinton.
