Ernest Dee Lewis Jr., a cherished soul born on April 6, 1955, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in his hometown on October 2, 2025. He was surrounded by the love of his family, who will carry his memory with them forever.
Ernest was welcomed into the world by his loving parents, Ernest Dee Lewis Sr. and Mary Grace Lewis.He shared a special bond with his sisters; Aleesa Lewis, Brenda Lewis, and his late sister Debra Lewis.
Throughout his life, Ernest was a dedicated father to his children: Damon Pillow Sr., Gabriel Pillow, Tanzya Pillow, and Jason Lewis. Each of them carries pieces of his spirit within them, and they will remember him as a guiding force in their lives. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, including Talyn Pillow, Damon Pillow Jr., Bryden Pillow, Demonta Pillow, Myles Pillow, Faith Lehring, Aiyontre Pillow, Tayton Smith, De'Ahvie Pillow, Blayne Deweese, and Zy'Rion Pillow. Their joyous laughter and smiles forever remind us of the love he instilled in his family.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will celebrate the many memories shared and the love that will forever bind them. Ernest Dee Lewis Jr. will always be remembered for his kindness, his strength, and the profound impact he had on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
