In Loving Memory Of Charlie Prues
September 22, 1982 - July 5, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie Prues on July 5, 2025 at the age of 42.
Charlie was born on September 22, 1982, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and resided in Lighthouse Point for much of his life. He graduated from Deerfield Beach High School and began his career as a mechanic at the Boca Raton Golf Course, where his passion for hands on work and dedication to doing things right quickly earned the respect of his coworkers.
In 2021, Charlie relocated with his beloved mother to the northwest Gulf Coast of Florida, where he continued to make meaningful connections and enjoy the quieter pace of life.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Jeanette Prues; his sister, Kristina Rebman; his uncle, Ed de la Pena; and several loving nephews and nieces. He will also be missed by countless friends and neighbors.
Charlie was known for his generous spirit and unwavering loyalty. He was a great friend - someone you could count on. Whether you needed a hand with a car, someone to talk to, or just a cold beer and a laugh, Charlie was there. He helped whenever he could, expecting nothing in return, and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He will be remembered with love, missed dearly, and never forgotten.
