Charles Frederick “Charlie” Puckett, 85, of Barnard, Missouri, and formerly of Maryville, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his home with his family at his side.
Charlie was born at Orrsburg Corner, Missouri on July 11, 1939. HIs parents were Millard Fillmore and Jennie Delberta (Mozingo) Puckett. His parents preceded him in death, as well as his son, Jesse Rodriquez, his brothers, Frank Puckett and Danny Puckett, his sister Lana O’Marrah.
He graduated from Horace Mann High School and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a heavy machinery operator for most of his life and had been a self-employed scrapper the past several years.
Charlie had attended the Community of Christ Church. He loved to work and enjoyed “junking” later in life, he also enjoyed his morning coffee with the guys. He adored his family and family activities, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He married Rena E. Schneider, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include his children, Charles Eugene Puckett, Jr, Oregon, Missouri, Vickie Patterson, Maryville, Missouri and Brandi (Miguel) Corral, Evans, Colorado, his brother Millard (Louise) Puckett, Rockaway Beach, Missouri, Penny (Gary) Emery, Maryville, Missouri, and Myrtle Still, Maryville, Missouri, and sister-in-law, Debbie Puckett, Maryville, Missouri, his grandchildren, Brandon Patterson, Alex (Kyndall) Porter, Kasey (Cory) Drummond, Carson Corral, Sutton (Courtney) Corral, and great grandchildren, Riley, Jon, Hadlie, Marley, Zaylynn, Emmerson, and Creedence, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and his close friend and business associate, Brad (Angela) Degase, Barnard, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The burial will follow in the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home.
