Charles L. Schutz, age 90, a longtime resident of Park Ridge, passed away May 22, 2025. Born June 17, 1934 in Chicago, on Father's Day, Charles graduated from Lane Tech High School in 1953, then afterwards, served proudly in the United States Army. He retired at the age of 60 after working 42 years at Cardinal Colorprint.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Geraldine; father to Charlene Schutz Kadlec and Thomas Schutz; grandfather to Cynthia (Thomas) Bethscheider and Laura Kadlec; and great-grandfather to Andrew Bethscheider. Charles was also a brother to the late Doris Malapanes, Harold Schutz and Adam Schutz Jr.; as well as beloved son to the late Adam and Marie Schutz.
Visitation, Friday, May 30, 2025 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S Northwest Highway Park Ridge, IL
Funeral Mass, Saturday, May 31, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Saint Paul of the Cross, (next door to Ryan-Parke Funeral Home), 320 South Washington Street, Park Ridge, IL
Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL
