With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Charles Ray Watts Jr., who departed this life on July 8, 2025, at the age of 44. Though his time on earth feels far too short, Charles touched countless lives with his strength, love, and unwavering spirit.
Born on October 5, 1980, to Dianne Simon Ramirez and the late Charles Watts Sr., Charles was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, a loyal brother, and a friend to many.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rhonda Nino-Watts, and his three children - Alysia Watts, Arianna Watts, and Charles Watts III - who were the light of his life and the joy of his heart.
Charles played a major role in the lives of his family. He was a protector, a provider, a mentor, and a constant source of love and support. His presence brought strength, stability, and joy to all who knew him. Whether offering words of wisdom, lending a helping hand, or simply sharing his laughter, Charles always made sure his family knew how deeply he loved them.
He is also survived by his devoted mother, Dianne Simon Ramirez, his aunt, Annette Watts-Collins (Ernest), and his siblings: sisters Kisha Watts-Torres, April Watts, Ada Stewart (Kala) Holmes, Tiquantah Simon, and brothers Kieth Green and Cory Charles.
Charles's legacy of love and laughter will also live on through a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold his memory close. Charles now rests in eternal peace, reunited with his father, Charles Watts Sr., his beloved grandparents, Ella B. Simon and Robert Simon Sr., and his cherished grandmother, Eunice B. Watts-Atkins.
We take comfort in knowing they have welcomed him with open arms in heaven's embrace. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate the blessing of his life - a life marked by love, loyalty, and deep faith. Charles's presence will be missed beyond words, but his spirit will remain with us always. May God grant us peace and strength in this season of sorrow, and may Charles rest in the arms of the Lord until we meet again. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort and strength.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23 To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Charles, please visit our floral store.
