Charlotte Sikes Caffey, age 80, passed away July 4, 2025 at her residence in Paris Texas.
She was born in Deport, Texas, June 7, 1945.
A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Susan Leddy and Tammy Malnory officiating.
Charlotte attended Paris Public Schools, graduating from Paris High School in 1963. She attended The University of North Texas, continued on to become an American Airlines flight attendant. Later, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from East Texas A&M. She became a lifelong educator for the Paris ISD, and Detroit ISD.
Charlotte was a former owner of Spangler's of Paris. She loved to entertain family and friends using her excellent culinary skills. Her kitchen was filled with countless recipes and the warmth of home-cooked meals.
She is survived by her son, Chris Caffey of Paris; her brother, Randy Sikes (Sheena); sister, Tammy Sikes Malnory (Mark); five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Charlotte will join her parents, Frances and CR Sikes; two sons, Charlie and Chad Caffey in Heaven.
The family wishes to extend gratitude to Charlotte's caregivers, Melinda Craig, Becki Hall and Lauren Gordon.
