Charlotte Jo Gamblin (Orgovan), age 68, of Glencoe, passed away on August 12, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3 p.m. with Mike Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1–3 p.m. prior to the service.

Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and "Mimi." She found joy in cooking, planting flowers, going to yard sales, and visiting the Smoky Mountains. She especially loved spoiling her two dogs, Scooter and Charley, and treasured every moment spent with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Orgovan; brothers, Freddy and Mark Orgovan; brother-in-law, Ted East; parents-in-law, Calvin and Janet Gamblin; and her son, David Lee Charlton III.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ernie Gamblin; daughters, Lisa (Jamie) Nichols and April Gross; sisters, Rose East and Laura McBurnett; brother-in-law, Randall (Kathy) Gamblin; sisters-in-law, Judy Elrod and Treasa (Mike) Webb; grandchildren, Austin (Kimberley) Whittemore, Dakota (Madison) Willis, Joshua Willis, Jacob Willis, Mikayla Leftwich, Justin Nichols, Colton Nichols, and Jake Charlton; great-grandchildren, David Whittemore and Dylan Whitemore, Taylor Whittemore; along with many nieces, nephews, and her lifelong family friend, Mike Chapman.

Charlotte's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
