Charlotte Marie Miller, 73, passed away suddenly on July 3rd, 2025. Charlotte was born and raised in Worthington, MN. She graduated from high school in 1970 and attended South Dakota State University (SDSU). Charlotte graduated in 1974 with a degree in Nursing. While in college she met Stephen Miller and the two were married in 1973.
Charlotte worked in nursing for 18 years during which she earned a Master of Business Administration degree. During these years she and Steve were raising two sons, Patrick and Charles. For the next 30 years, Charlotte held various senior leadership positions in the medical/insurance fields. In these positions, she traveled internationally to meet with clients.
As the boys became involved in soccer, Charlotte began refereeing. She officiated for 34 years, a total of 1875 soccer games. Charlotte was also an active member of the Civil Air Patrol for many years and at one point the Burnsville Squadron Commander.
In retirement, nothing filled Charlotte's heart more than spending time with her grandchildren. She loved baking with them and going to watch their activities, whether on stage, field, or in the gym.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bernadine Blackstad, stepmother, Ruth Dittis, and sisters, Barb and Nancy.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stephen, her sons, Patrick and Charles, their wives, Jane and Lynn, and grandchildren, Jiana, ZK, Caleb, and Julia.
