Funeral Services for Chesterfield Franklin Pulliam, 102, will be at 10:30am Friday, October 17, 2025, at LeCompte Johnson Taylor. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm Thursday, October 16, 2025, at LeCompte Johnson Taylor. He passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at his home. He was born in Bald Knob to the late Zackary Robert Pulliam and Susan Mary Slattery Pulliam.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS Albemarle and the USS Franklin. He is a member of VFW Post 4075 and a member of Masonic Lodge.
Chesterfield is survived by his loving wife, Pauline J. Pulliam; son, Darrell "Hoss" (Jan) Pulliam; daughters, Karen Leslie Pulliam, Rhonda P. Bayes; daughter-in-law, Doreen Jezek; granddaughter, Jessica (Justin) Howell; great granddaughter, Adrian Howell; step grandchildren, Jeremy Sargent, Garrett Sargent, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Franklin Pulliam; two brothers, Selbert (Sarah) Pulliam and Zachary "Junior" Pulliam, and three sisters, Ruby (Selbert) Hedges, Sarah (Kenneth) Newton, and Frances (Gus) Coleman.
Pallbearers will be Paul Goodlett, Jeff Franklin, Mike Newton, Mike McCauley, Mark Pulliam, and Eric Newton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Jackson, Steve Pulliam, and Frank Chuppe.
Donations may be made to Honor Flight Kentucky or the American Diabetes Association.
