It is with profound love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christina Brenn Giordano, who left us on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the age of 47, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 25, 1978, in Long Beach, California, Christina was a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter and sister. She was a dedicated professional and active community member, residing in Waterboro, Maine at the time of her passing.
Christina found deep joy and purpose in her family life. She was the beloved wife of John Giordano, whom she married on December 13, 2014, and together they built a beautiful life. Her two children, Sean Patrick Donovan and Antonia Noelle Giordano, were the absolute light of her life, and she was a proud and loving mother to them both.
Christina built a compassionate career, most recently serving as a Social Work Case Manager at Morrison Center in Wells, Maine, since May 2022. Prior to this, she was a Behavioral Health Technician at The Margaret Murphy Centers for Children and a Counselor at HELP, Inc., demonstrating her unwavering commitment to helping others. Beyond her professional work, Christina was actively involved in her community, serving on the budget committee for the town of Waterboro, a role through which she contributed to the well-being of her town.
A lifelong learner, Christina pursued higher education across various fields. She earned a Master's degree in Human Psychology from Ashford University in 2018, and studied Social Sciences at The University of Arizona, graduating in 2010. Her academic journey began at Catawba College in North Carolina and then at Western Connecticut State University, where she studied Communication and Theatre from 1999 to 2002. She was a proud alumna of Brookfield High School in Connecticut.
Christina will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kind spirit and dedication to family and community involvement were evident, and she harbored a lifelong passion for dance and theater. She was active in theatre in high school and college and at Richter Musicals in Danbury. Later Christina dedicated time to teaching lessons and choreographing public school musicals in Connecticut, sharing her artistry and inspiring countless young performers.
