Clara Jean Logan was born in Red River Parish Louisiana to Albert and Deola Logan on December 27,1937.
The Family migrated to Corpus Christi, Texas were she attanded St Mary's Elementary and moved to study at Solomon Coles High School.Clara met Calvin Henry. They got married on Oct 31,1957. Calvin was her husband of 67 years, and 11 months to this union 4 children were born.
Clara leaves to cherish her memories her loving huband,Calvin Henry; two sons, Kenneth Lott (his wife, Gay Lott), Charles Henry(Andrea Henry); two daughters, Virin Griggs (Lewis Griggs), Joyce Manning (foster daughter); 10 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by 4 childern, Donna Smith, Valerie Randall, Calvin Henry Jr, and Micheal Henry.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Henry, Christia Henry, Ron Price, Ashley Price, Chorley Deloach, Raymond Deloach, Kenneth Sampson, Vincent Galloway.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lewis Griggs, Stevie Galloway, and Raymond McKinney.
Family and friends will gather from 10:00am to 11:00am and the service to celebrate her life will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church with burial following at St Phillips Cemetery.
