Clarence Koenig, 89, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Monett, MO. He was born December 22, 1934, to Alfred and Francis Koenig. He married Berneice Koehler on May 28, 1960, and they were happily married for 64 years. Clarence was blessed with a beautiful family who meant everything to him.
He was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pulaskifield, MO, and served on the parish council. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 91 and the Knights of Columbus.
His family and friends will deeply miss him. He is survived by his wife, Berneice; his daughters Sherri Skorupski (and husband Tony), Renee Swearingen (and husband Dan), and Melanie Towers (husband Jim); and his grandchildren Zach, Mason, and Kaehler Swearingen, Braxton Gray, and Brayden Towers.
Family and friends are invited to the Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO, for Rosary at 5:30 pm and visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. Mass will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Pulaskifield, MO, Friday, August 9th at 10:00 am, graveside to follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorial contributions have been suggested to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
