Florence – Claude R. Wilcox, 76, of Florence, Wisc., passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at his home.
He was born on December 6, 1948, in Sheboygan, Wisc., to the late Claude E. and Leona C. (Ellenbecker) Wilcox.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was known to be helpful to others. He loved being at camp with family. He worked for Florence County Highway Department for thirty-six years before his retirement. After retirement, he began working for US Special Delivery for ten years.
He is survived by his wife, Leanne Wilcox; son, Bruce (Kim Koski) Wilcox; daughters, Tammy (Randy) Jordan, and Kristina Johnson; brothers, Steve (Rose) Wilcox, Ron (Becky) Wilcox, and Mike (Mar) Wilcox; sister, Sandy (Charlie Shaw) Wilcox; grandchildren, Raeanne (Brendan) Garrigan, Noah (Riley) Wilcox, Lily Wilcox, Daniel Jordan, Thomas Jordan, Alaina Jordan, and Cole Galeazzi; great-grandchildren, Macy Trulock, and Brynna Garrigan; and special cousin, Wayne Wilcox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha White.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Commonwealth Cemetery, Commonwealth, Wisc.
