Clifford Hill Obituary
Funeral service for Clifford Hill, age 73, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas with Rev. Garry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Nolan Hill, Eric Hill, Tony Farmer, Matt Caldwell, Chris Penson, and Chuck Skaggs serving as pallbearers. Charlie Reeder will be Honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Hill passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
Clifford Ray Hill was born in Dallas, Texas on August 17, 1951 to H.P. Hill, Jr. and Mattie Lee (Hooten) Hill. Clifford was an equipment operator at Goodwill warehouse for almost 20 years. He loved woodcarving, reading, fishing, and watching Westerns on TV.
Clifford is survived by his sisters, Sarah Farmer and Pam Reeder (Charlie) both of Sulphur Springs; brothers, Nolan Hill (Casey) of Sulphur Springs and William Hill of Houston; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.P. Hill, Jr. and Mattie Hill.
