Clifford E. Snodgrass passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Cliff was born May 15, 1947 in Alameda, CA to the late Clifford C. and Georgia Yvonne Snodgrass, nee Childress.
Cliff served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After returning home from the war, he pursued a career in the practice of government law and became an administrative law judge. Cliff was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, and leaves many memories of fun, love, and laughter with all who were blessed to know him. He took special pride in being a father and grandfather, and was always there to lend a word of wisdom or encouragement or to bring a little cheer to his loved ones. A very warm and generous person, he found joy in giving little gifts and inviting others to share a meal or just gather for some fun.
Cliff was an avid fisherman and hunter, a lover of music and dancing, and enjoyed a special bond with his many canine companions. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing with his grandchildren and all their young friends, and telling stories around the campfire after a long day of play.
Cliff and his wife, Jan, were blessed to spend many years traveling, fishing, and spending time in the company of their many cherished friends.
Cliff is survived by his beloved wife Jan, of Warrenton, MO; daughter, Jennifer (Shawn) Grooms of Warrenton, MO; grandchildren, Briana, Nolan, Vivia, and Daxon; half-sister, Mary (Clifton) Hall and many dear nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents and half brother John Snodgrass. He will be missed, but remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Friends and family please join for fellowship, sandwiches and refreshments following the interment. Venue to be announced.
Memorial donations can be The Grey Muzzle Organization in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383
