Clifton Ray Adkins, Jr. (Clif), 50, of Florence, a cherished husband, father, son, brother,uncle and friend passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 19, 1974, in Huntington, West Virginia, Clifton touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness.
Clif dedicated himself to a successful career as a Building Maintenance Worker with Bosch, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. His colleagues and friends admired his determination and reliability, traits he carried into every aspect of his life.
An avid fan of the University of Kentucky basketball , Clif embraced his passion for sports with a fervor that inspired those around him. He thoroughly enjoyed golfing and fishing, and laughing often sharing these activities with family and friends who will fondly remember the joyous times spent outdoors under the sun. Most importantly, Clif treasured the moments spent with his loved ones, always finding pleasure in their company and the memories they created together.
Clif is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer Rose Biggs Adkins; his beloved mother, Carolyn S. Burton( Suzie); his sons, Clifton Alexander Adkins( Alex) and Mason James Adkins; beloved family member who was like a son in every way, James Tunning and his brothers, Ben Adkins,( Daph)and Travis Adkins,(Kayla); Nieces and Nephews Brittany Joles,(Kegan), Haley Adkins,( Spencer), Matthew Biggs, Ben Adkins(Benny); Great Nieces and Nephews, Lincoln Joles, Lilah Joles, Olivia Ray Adkins; As well as a number of dear brothers and Sister, mother and father in-laws. Each of them will hold onto the many cherished memories they shared with Clif, providing comfort in this difficult time.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Ray Adkins, Sr., who will be remembered alongside him as a guiding presence in his life.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, both taking place at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
As friends and family gather to celebrate Clif’s life, they will carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate in their lives.
