Gregory Thomas Peterson, "Greg", 67, of White Bear Lake, formerly of Roseville, passed away on August 1, 2025 in his home after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on May 17, to Kenneth and Lois (Schoeberl) Peterson, who have preceded him in death. Greg is survived by his wife, Kristen Stuart Peterson; children, Nathan Stuart (Tess) of Hugo, Stephanie Stuart (Chris and children; Caiden and Maya), of Fort Collins, CO, Caleb Peterson (Melissa) of Maplewood, and Aubrey Peterson, of White Bear Lake; his siblings, Michael Peterson (Joanne) of Cottage Grove and Lisa Lieser (Bob) of Savage; as well as many other family members and longtime friends, especially "The Bros", Scott Morris, Mike Murphy, Steve Funk and Bill Hurley.
In 1976, he graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School and then went on to attend Augsburg College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems. On June 12, 1993, he married Kristen and they settled in White Bear Lake. Greg was a curious man with an analytical and intelligent mind which served him well during his career as an IT Program Manager at UnitedHealth Group. He was involved in many faith-based organizations over the years and enjoyed opportunities to share his faith. He loved to travel and went on many adventure trips with friends and family. He enjoyed music and golf. Many would consider Greg to be a "renaissance man", willing to try anything. His response to anything new or challenging was "Go Forth and Conquer!".
