Clyde E. Hunt, age 91, of Quarryville, formerly of Manor Township, went to be with his Lord on July 2, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Alma M. (Harnish) Hunt, with whom he was married for 69 years. He was born November 3, 1933, in Rapho Township, to Isaac T. and Dorothy G. (Earhart) Hunt.
Clyde was a farmer and also worked at Lancaster County Farms (Clay Reese Co., Inc.). He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Clyde was one of the original members of the Red Shingle hunting camp in Sullivan County, PA. After retirement, he started planting and selling Christmas trees, which eventually grew to become Hunt's Christmas Trees.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, C. Randall (Jeanette), Ronald E. (Lindsey), C. Richard (Susan), and Ramon C. (Donna), nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, a brother, Paul E. (Vivian) Hunt, and sisters, Elsie (Marlin) Kreider and Elva Martin.
Private interment will take place in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
