Colleen Yvonne Campbell, (Burt) 62, of Litchfield, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at home. She was born on December 19, 1962 in Toledo, Ohio to Colonel Pitts and Geneva (Gregory) Griffin. Colleen married Homer Campbell on July 21, 2007 and he preceded her in death in 2016.
Colleen attended Libbey High School in Toledo, Ohio. She enjoyed singing, writing books and hanging out with her friends from the apartment complex. Colleen also enjoyed playing the lottery and a weekly dose of Monday Night Raw.
Colleen is survived by two daughters, LaToya Pitts of Cincinnati, Ohio, LaTasha Pitts of Columbus, Ohio and two grandchildren, Yusef Mumin and Sa'eed Mumin, a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Homer, Colleen was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, LaTisha Pitts and two brothers, Dietrick Griffin and Robert Griffin, Jr.
Please join us for a memorial celebration for Colleen Campbell on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2-3:30 PM at the Community Center (710 Riverside Drive Litchfield, MI 49252). We'll gather to remember and honor her life and share light refreshments together. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
Memorial contributions are suggested to go to the Fresenius Medical Dialysis Center.
