Connie Jean Somers passed away on Friday, September 26th, 2025.
She was born in Missouri on April 3rd, 1961 in Raymondville, MO to Audrey and Barbara Sawyer. She was a high school graduate at Sunnydale Academy in Centralia, Missouri. After high school, she earned her CNA license and worked in her chosen field for over twenty three years where she touched the lives of countless families, and coworkers, with her kindness.
Her hobbies and interests were embroidering, garage sales, and pursuing her love of all things Elvis. There is no doubt she is dancing with him and living that dream. She also supplied an endless amount of snacks and Mountain Dew for her treasured grandkids and anyone that stopped by her apartment. Connie enjoyed her visitors and made sure they were taken care of and never left hungry. Also, time spent with her grandkids was the most valuable to her, and she always looked forward to a visit from them.
Connie was preceded in death by the king himself Elvis Presley, her parents, stepfather Elmer Hubbard, her baby brother David, older brother Buddy, and one grandchild Bethany Bogart. She is survived by her brother Dudley Sawyer, sister Cheryl Sawyer, half sister Sharlet Sisco, son Junior Somers, daughter Audra Claspill and her husband Jason, and son Jack Somers and his wife Cheryl. Connie leaves behind everlasting love for her beloved grandchildren(9) and great grandchildren(3).
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date for family members.
