Connor Liam Nolan, a vibrant soul known for his adventurous spirit and infectious laughter, passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 20, due to a tragic motorcycle accident in Manchester, NJ. Born on May 9, 2005, in
Toms River, NJ, Connor's exuberance for life and loving nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Kevin and Mary Nolan of Manchester; his cherished brother, Gavin Nolan; and his beloved grandmother, Bernice Cloos. Connor's memory will also be treasured by his aunts, Melissa Swanson, Sharon Konopka, and Karen Toback; uncles, John Nolan, Lonnie Kelley, Kevin Toback, and Clayton Konopka; and his cousins, Brittany and Cody Swanson, Lexie Estudillo, Kyle, Kayla, and Kacy Toback, and Dustin Kelley. Connor's life was further enriched by the presence of many great aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Richard Nolan, Ronald Cloos, and Russell Stanton, who have welcomed him into eternal peace. An alumnus of Ocean County College, Connor studied Criminal Justice with the ambition of contributing positively to society. His commitment to his studies was matched only by his dedication at work, where he served as an assistant manager for Five Guys for four years, demonstrating exceptional leadership and teamwork.
Connor's involvement with the American Legion Post 129 as a Sons of The American Legion (SAL) member spanned two decades, a testament to his enduring commitment to community service and fellowship. His contributions to the organization reflected his deep-seated values of honor and camaraderie.
Those who knew Connor will fondly remember his passion for Xbox gaming, where he would often showcase his competitive yet fair playstyle. A skilled soccer player, Connor's athletic prowess was evident on the field, where he played with heart and determination. His love for sweatshirts became a signature part of his style, as did the joy he found in riding his motorcycle, feeling the freedom of the open road. Connor was also an avid player of cornhole, where his sense of humor and lively personality made every game memorable.
Connor's character was a blend of courage and tenderness. He was the embodiment of adventure, always seeking new experiences with a fearless and open heart. His loving nature made him a pillar of strength for his family and friends, and his humor brought laughter to even the most mundane moments.
