Constance Diane Wev Algermissen, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, in Hillsborough, North Carolina, surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old.
Born April 8, 1933, in San Pedro, California, Connie was the daughter of Elizabeth Conrad Sloan Wev and Rear Admiral Bosquet Neill Wev, Ret. US Navy.
Connie, as she was affectionately known, lived a life filled with love, family, and faith. She was a devoted member of the Episcopal Church, finding comfort and community in her spiritual beliefs throughout her life.
Connie's life was enriched by her passion for local theater, and she enjoyed reading and writing short stories for her local newspaper. As a dedicated homemaker, she found joy in knitting, working on puzzles, and immersing herself in books. Her creativity and love for the arts touched many in her community.
She is survived by her five sons: Stephen Douglas Robertson (deceased), David Neil Robertson, Kenneth Lawrence Robertson, Philip Norwood Wev Robertson, and Charles Glasgow Robertson III. Connie was also a cherished grandmother to 4 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 4 great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love that spans generations.
Connie will be remembered for her wonderful, warm, caring heart, always willing to help her family and friends. Her dedication to her church and community was evident in her volunteer work and the countless lives she touched. The love she shared with her family and friends was boundless, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
