Age 71, of Oscoda, MI passed away at her home on Saturday, July 12, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Maasin City, Southern Leyte, Philippines on June 15, 1954 to the late Arsenio and Petronia Mori (Tagra). Cristina married Donald Schilling Jr. in Fayetteville, NC on July 16, 1979. They have called Oscoda home for the past 41 years. She worked for 13 of those years at Charbonneau's Restaurant in addition to being a devoted homemaker. Cristina enjoyed crocheting, cooking gardening, and like any Pilipino woman, feeding anyone and everyone that walked through the door, she loved to sing, karaoke and dance. She is survived by her husband Donald of Oscoda, MI; daughter Michelle Mori Schilling of Goodyear, AZ, daughter Laura Marie Schilling of Oscoda, MI and son Scott Edward Schilling. Cristina is also survived by her two granddaughters, Violet and Nora Schilling and her sisters, Donesia Sanchez and Gudelia Paquibot and her brother Esmeraldo Mori of the Philippines. Private arrangements have been made through Buresh Funeral Homes in Oscoda, MI.
