Cristobal D. Ortiz, 63, of Bigfoot, TX, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. Born on October 26, 1961 to Jose and Dolores Ortiz. Cris was a beloved son, uncle, cousin, loving father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his parents, his children Kristianna (Oscar) Ortiz-Fragoso, Christoper (Shamarelly) Ortiz and his grandson Venisio Fragoso-Ortiz. Brother Javier (Odilia) Ortiz and sister Gracie (Ivan) Molina, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Cris was preceded in death by his brothers, Roland and Elisandro Ortiz.
There will be a Rosary at 9 A.M. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devine, Texas. A mass will follow at 10 A.M.. Burial will take place at Longview Cemetery immediately after Mass.
